A transformation study of an Existing Building Space for a completed Epic Burger Restaurant SGC Build Out.
EPIC BURGER RESTAURANT "Build Out"
Scott General Contracting completed an Epic Burger Restaurant build out in a raw 2,500 sq. ft. mall space with no previous occupant. The customer envisioned the aesthetics of a traditional Taylor Street Restaurant, which required a complete “ground up” approach.
First, SGC managed the exterior and interior demolition as well as the construction of new concrete foundations and piers. Roof reinforcement to hold mechanical equipment necessitated extensive structural steel work to create the new storefront. HVAC roof top units and ductwork were installed to meet mechanical specifications. The necessary interior studs were erected; newly-hung drywall was painted and ceramic tile flooring and trim were installed.
SGC is particularly proud of the custom trim work and aged brick work on the storefront as well as the specialized metal awning system. SGC complied with the unique project requests, including the fabrication and installation of a grease scrubbing unit with control and a required 26-foot high exterior barricade while incorporating brand specific features such as the custom fabricated interior millwork package and custom light fixtures.
Our subcontractors worked seamlessly together and performed exceptional work, completing this project in only 12 weeks. The space – as shown above – exceeded expectations and is a welcome addition to our body of work.
