Project FACTS

FACT 1

The existing building was an older Bank of America, SGC removed all interior bank equipment, furniture, millwork, ceiling tiles, carpeting, ceramic tiles, complete electrical and mechanicals along with Plumbing stripped down to the interior shell of the building.

FACT 2

A panelized concrete vault was removed in sections and lifted thru drive thru window opening and disposed of by three separate flatbed semi-trailers along with all vault panels and debris.

FACT 3
The existing building did not have natural gas service, SGC had to coordinate with Nicor to install new gas line service to building for the necessary kitchen equipment specifications.

FACT 4
SGC installed a 500-gallon grease trap necessary to finish and modernize kitchen.

FACT 5

The existing building did not have a fire sprinkler system, SGC installed 6” water service to the building then custom designed fire sprinkler system to meet local fire codes and restaurants floor plan.

 

FACT 6
SGC worked diligently with designer, architect, kitchen equipment supply company, custom stone fabricator, low voltage contractor, furniture fabricator, millwork fabricator, and all suppliers and subcontractors to fabricate and install custom Interiors.

FACT 7
Under close supervision and direction all custom fabricated millwork and Interior lighting was managed by the SGC team.

 

FACT 8
Existing covered drive-thru over hangs was removed in order to facilitate the necessary room for the new custom outdoor patio area which was completely designed and custom fabricated by SGC. 

FACT 9

Timeframe for the complete TRANSFORMATION from the old Bank of America to the new DITKA’s GRILL Restaurant was approximately 7 months.
