A transformation study of an Existing Space for a completed O'Mango Restaurant SGC Build Out.
O'MANGO FLAVORS OF INDIA
The ingenuity and creativity of the SGC design team helped bring to fruition our client’s vision of a unique Indian restaurant. The client conceptualized O'Mango after a visit to India and SGC worked to fulfill their unique expectations. The existing 3000 square foot space required a complete indoor and outdoor demolition including concrete saw cutting and removal.
This project overhaul consisted of all new construction elements including mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, new electrical service and landscaping. Heavy gauge metal studs framed the exterior wall and finished with brick and masonry as well as an incorporated storefront system and glass. Concrete curbing and sidewalks with handicap-accessible ramps were installed. This project was completed in four months at a freestanding site in Aurora, Illinois.
We are proud to showcase the full catalog of creative custom elements involved in this restaurant, including an exterior trellis system fabricated from reclaimed aged barn timbers, an outdoor railing system, an outdoor artistic painting, specialized millwork, intricate mosaic tiling, and the authentic rangoli interior paint scheme complete with custom draperies and light fixtures. The overall result as shown below was consistent with their brand’s central design aesthetic, proving that space was not a limiting factor.
